Say Hello
to Scout

Meet Scout the purple Martin, your guide to all things Rainwater Crossing. Scout soars throughout the neighborhood as both a companion and free spirit— because here, life is meant to be explored. Indigenous to the area, Scout is a proud Celina native and is excited to share this special city with the residents of Rainwater Crossing.

Step Inside Whispering Grove

Whispering Grove is coming soon! This two-acre park at the entrance to Rainwater Crossing will feature peaceful walking trails that wind through native greenery and along a tranquil reflection pond. At its heart will stand Scout’s Tree, a fine-art sculpture created by nationally recognized Dallas-based artist team Brad Oldham and Christy Coltrin. The 35-foot-tall placemaking artwork reflects the neighborhood’s natural beauty and honors the site’s history as a former tree farm. Crafted from stainless steel and cor-ten steel, the sculpture captures attention upon arrival and glows at night through integrated lighting, creating an immersive experience for visitors and residents.
